The Story
D&M JEWELLERY is an ode to understated elegance, femininity with an edge, and mystical Nordic aesthetics.
The brand was founded in 2003 in Stockholm, Sweden by two young graduates of the Swedish University of Arts, Crafts and Design. D&M's ultimate craftsmanship and love for shapes and nature immediately caught an eye of the international fashion community. D&M jewellery not only made its way to the glossy pages of Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Harpers Bazaar and other magazines but also landed the brand a collaboration with the fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld who commissioned it to design a 10-piece collection for the Lagerfeld Gallery in Paris.
Pieces by D&M are bold and edgy, yet elegant and classy. Scandinavian tendency to minimalism shines through every design element, clean lines and perfect shapes.
The brand's secret of success lies in not allowing trends or fashion interfere with its timelessness. Every new collection is a further enhancing addition to its existing creations.
D&M's 'Fauna Futura' neckpiece was exhibited in the legendary boutique Colette in Paris and featured in Maia Adams' book 'Fashion Jewellery: Catwalk and Couture' profiling 33 international fashion jewellers who combine the traditional techniques and ultra-modern methods to create a new style of jewellery.
Twenty years on, D&M continues to celebrate the Modern Woman and create pieces that start conversations, break barriers, tell stories and make you feel confident. It draws inspiration from the stories of real women who choose to be themselves whatever life throws at them.
